Company History
1957 - Alexandre Brito Gouveia established the family's first production unit. Brialex was one of the first apparel industries in Portugal.
1973 - Carlos Brito, son of Alexandre Brito Gouveia, establishes Eurofato, a company focused on the production of men's jackets, trousers, vests and suits.
1981 - Eurofato leads the Portuguese market.
1993 - The family's 3rd generation advances with DAVION, in Oliveira do Hospital, working with a private label system for larger productions.
1998 - The commercial chain is implemented in Spain.
2006 - The beginning of the commercial expansion of the MTM (made to measure) market. DAVION begins producing "made to measure" garments, having produced for celebrities, such as: David Beckham, José António Camacho, Jurgen Klinsman, David Bowie, Pierce Brosnan, Morgan Freeman, Robbie Williams, among others.
2008 - Alteration of the type of production from larger to smaller production series.
2010 - DAVION Brasil Alfaiataria, Lda, is created. The gateway to the Brazilian market.
